Hannah Bloyd-Peshkin
Hannah was featured in the 2009 Kayak Touring issue of Canoe and Kayak Magazine as one of five paddlers who matter now. She began kayaking six years ago and has been obsessed for the last five and a half of them. She has been an assistant instructor at many Midwest kayak symposia, Adventure Crafters in Maryland, has assisted at Chicago Whitewater Association pool sessions, and has worked with many fantastic instructors, learning from each of them. In addition to teaching she has paddled on Lake Michigan and local rivers as well as Georgian Bay, the Adirondacks, and the Ottawa River. Hannah likes whitewater and sea kayaking but when not on the water she enjoys snowboarding, climbing, and camping. Hannah is an ACA qualified assistant and is a BCU 3-Star paddler, has trained at Madawaska Kanu Center in Ontario, and intends to complete her IDW/ICE in spring 2010
