Trip Description

Explore all the “hot spots” for kayaking in the Apostles, with the comfort of bed & breakfast lodging to return to at night! We’ll take three different day trips and view sea caves, lighthouses, historic landmarks, and have fun exploring the islands by kayak. Trip members will be staying at historic Gruenke’s Inn in downtown Bayfield during their time in the Apostles.

The Geneva Kayak Center’s Inn-Based Paddling Trips are designed for the adventurer looking to experience kayaking destinations of unparalleled scenic beauty, with the comfort of inn accommodations, fine dining and leisurely paddling itineraries. Our ACA instructors and BCU coaches are the perfect guides for these trips and will make your adventure truly remarkable! The paddling itineraries for these trips are designed for the beginning paddler, but will be enjoyed by the kayak enthusiast!

This trip is rated a GKC Level 2 trip. Participants on this trip should be able to paddle confidently at a beginner level as outlined in our ACA L2 or BCU 2 star trainings. Participants DO NOT need to have their L2 or 2 Star awards, but rather should have taken our ACA L2 training or BCU 2 Star training classes and should feel comfortable with the skills taught in that class.
